Mist Eliminators
We take pride in the versatility and efficiency
of our mist eliminators. These world-renowned products can effectively separate droplets as
small as 2µm, providing you with superior separation efficiency. Our mist eliminators achieve this high level of efficiency with a minimal pressure drop, typically less than 2.5mbar.
Principles of Operation
Our mist eliminators are produced as a bed of knitted wire mesh, offering a tortuous path and a large surface area for droplets entrained in the gas stream. Through impingement and capture by the mesh filaments, separation is achieved as droplets coalesce and drain away, leaving your gas stream clean and free from entrainment.
For your more demanding applications, we have developed a sophisticated modelling software that goes beyond conventional industry ‘rules of thumb’ for mist eliminator design. This best-in-class software allows us to offer tailored solutions that precisely cater to your requirements and provide unmatched performance.
All our mist eliminators are produced in state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the United Kingdom and India. We are committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers worldwide with delivery duty paid (DDP) options available upon request.

Installation
Every mist eliminator we manufacture is bespoke to your vessel’s dimensions and configuration. This means that the unit is tailor-made to fit perfectly within your vessel.
To make the installation process as smooth as possible for you, we recommend sectional installation. This method allows for ease of handling and convenient access through vessel manways.
Gas flow in mist eliminators can typically be vertically upwards, with the liquid draining counter-current to the gas flow, or horizontally, with the liquid draining in a direction normal to the gas flow. Regardless of the gas flow orientation in your vessel, our mist eliminators have the flexibility to be installed to accommodate your specific setup.
Most of our mist eliminators are supplied complete with rigid support grids, making it easy for you to directly install them onto appropriate supports like beams and rings within the vessel. We can also supply tie wire, bolting, clamps, and support beams where necessary.
